April 23, 2020 A Daily Occurence

I am reading through the Psalms and verse 57:1 jumped out at me: "Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in you {finds shelter and safety}; And in the shadow of Your wings {Your embrace} I will make my refuge, until these calamities {terrible trouble} have passed by." God's protective 'wing' holds deep meaning for me. I even have a feather tattoo to mark the significance of His protection over my life. I am feeling anxious off and on today, so I think I will close my eyes, huddle under His wing and rest awhile.
