February 12, 2020 A Daily Occurrence

I stand here. A lot.
At the counter. Chopping, mixing, assembling meals.
At the sink. Washing, scrubbing, scraping scraps off plates and dishes.
If I was to be honest, kitchen activities are not my favorite. I am not that person that just LOVES to cook. I would rather be doing......well.....anything else.
But I do it. Because I can care for, love on and serve my family in this way. Because let's be honest; the veggies/fruit I feed The Boy may be the only veggies that enter his mouth all day.
So I chop, mix and assemble meals.
I wash, scrub and scrape the scraps off plates and dishes.
Maybe I should ask for a supernatural desire to love all things kitchen related?
