February 19, 2020 A Daily Occurrence

Hiding.
Classic Ingrid:Don't answer the phone, don't respond to that text, slap a smile on face, cue happy voice.
Meanwhile......back at the ranch a.k.a. home........
This is how I used to live. I used to hide behind my phone and in my house. Only those closest saw the real hot-mess-express.
Now: I answer the phone-mostly. Respond to texts-mostly. The smile on my face and the tone of my voice is genuine-mostly.
Because sometimes I'm still a hot-mess-express; but I have learned to disembark the train quicker.
