March 2, 2020 A Daily Occurrence

Can we just talk about Lent for a minute? Let's talk about a few weeks ago when I was telling you all "don't get all caught up in the rules/giving something up/taking something on/do this/do that" of Lent.......to yesterday afternoon when ALL I wanted/wished/hoped for was a giant cup of steaming black coffee. You see, Lent and health reasons have thrown me the opportunity to remove this magic cup of awesomeness from my life. Now I have a gauge to measure how I ACTUALLY feel.....ugh......yes that is how I feel. But "they" tell me that Lent is a season of sacrifice. So......good morning??
And the irony of the on/off and volume control switches over my head in this image is not lost on me.........time to turn down/off some thoughts and replace them with louder good and true ones.
